Jersey Australia’s Jersey Elite Awards recognise excellence in cow for Type, Production and Brood cows and Bull and provide the key animals achievement criteria for the Jersey Australia Master Breeder Awards.
The criteria for the Jersey Elite Cow Awards are
- Master Breeder Award
- Breeders must
- have retained and active membership for at least 20 years
- Havre registered on average 25 animals per year over the 20 year period
- Achieved at least 3 of the following 4:
- 5 Jersey Elite Production Cows
- 3 Jersey Elite Type Cows
- 2 Jersey Elite Brood Cows
- 1 Jersey Elite Bulls

- Breeders must
- Jersey Elite Brood Cow
- The cow must be classified EX91 and produced 3500Kg of milk and has achieved 2 of the following
- At least 2 daughters classifying EX90 or higher
- At least 2 daughters producing 2000kg of milk solids or higher
- 1 Jersey Elite Bull

- Jersey Elite Type Cow
- The cow must be classified at last EX 92 and has at least 2 daughters who ate classified at least EX90
